These figures were painted for someone else collection and hence unbased. Usually, the british marines of this time period are often shown wearing white trousers but in reality they could be wearing either white or dark blue depending on the type of the climate they were deployed in. The owner requested dark blue and so how they were done.

Yes they do….total of 24 I did for him I imagine once they are based they will look sharpe. I always thought they only wore white trousers until I looked them up so something different.
