Gallic Infantry group #5

My goal was to post 6 groups of 24 figures by years end but it appears I will not get there. Outside painting commitments are prohibiting myself from that goal for the time being but I still intend to get the 6th group posted shortly after the new year. Any rate, as stated earlier 24 figures is just for posting and not necessary imply any type of unit size and the hope is for those who are painting up your own gallic/celt horde there will be some inspiration for ideas for your own collection.

Gallic Infantry group 4

Group 4 bringing the total figure count to 96.  is add 2 more groups though unit size by figure could vary from 24-48 figures for the table top. These figures are intended to augment a Punic army but if may at a later time double the count for a full Gallic/Celtic force.

Gallic Infantry group 3

Another group of the Gallic Infantry been steadily increasing.

Gallic Infantry group 1

These figures belong to my collection and are simply labelled as group 1 as I have several other groups of 24 miniatures to add to them. If one needs some visual representation for their own collection hopefully by years end I will post at 6 groups of 24 totaling 144 miniatures. I will be using mostly 3 main manufacturers being A&A, Crusader and Foundry which all blend in nicely.

Gallic Cavalry

Some mounted Celts/Gauls painted for another individual who will provide the basing. Most of the figures are Foundry with a few others thrown in. The biggest challenge is obviously doing checkered type pattern/stripes for the figures which add some time to the painting process but certainly is the worth the effort....
