Norman Cavalry

 

      These figures are all Wargame Foundry miniatures. I do like them and the different poses make for a nice looking group of 16 figures. However; they are also the most expensive I believe of the choices we have and why I bought them during their annual Christmas discount to ease the price down. These figures will go along with both the Footsore and Crusader Normans (Crusader figures still need to be posted) collection. The aim is to have around 80 mounted figures (5 x16 units) to go along with roughly double the foot (yes when we think Normans we think of the cavalry but the foot soldiers comprised a bigger share in their battles). Anyway, hopefully some of you will enjoy the pics and get some inspiration. 

Dark Age Russ

    

     These miniatures are not for me but I always find both Vikings and the Russ people seem to love to have for their collections and always a top request to have painted up.

British Napoleonic Marines

       These figures were painted for someone else collection and hence unbased. Usually, the british marines of this time period are often shown wearing white trousers but in reality they could be wearing either white or dark blue depending on the type of the climate they were deployed in. The owner requested dark blue and so how they were done.
