These 24 figures will join my mounted force of Carolingian Cavalry I currently have. All the miniatures are Artizan Design manufacturer and over all I'm pleased with them...my only complaint as with the mounted figures is the small size of their hands. I do plan on adding another 24 in the future for a total of 48 infantry before deciding if another unit will be needed.

Burgundian Cavalry
Burgundian Cavalry that I recently painted for another individual not certain of the manufacturer. Some of the figures are indeed shown without their lances as they were painted separately in contrasting colors of white and blue that the owner asked me to do and he will re attach them.
Italian infantry 1470's
These are some pics of various Italian infantry of the 1470 time frame consisting of bow, artillery men and spearmen. The costume of the time was quite colorful and thought I would post a few pics. These figures are for another collection.
Crusaders
The following are just some more pics of an ongoing Crusader project I have been painting on behalf of someone else who provide the basing. The main emphasis is for the pics of the shields for inspiration and or ideas for those who enjoy painting for this time period. The majority of the project I did not use transfers and required some digging in designs of the time that could paint relatively quickly (nothing overly complex) as I painted over 200 figures and wanted to keep each shield distinct as possible.
Gripping beast Avar comparison pics
Below are some pics of Gripping Beast Avar figures in comparison with Huns by both the Foundry and Footsore. Also included one of Aventine figures from their steppe range. As one can see the Gripping Beast figures tower over the other miniature ranges. The figures of are nice and I have painted up 9 each of the heavier cavalry and 9 of the lighter mounted. Unfortunately, the size difference has me leaning away from keeping them and more than likely I will post separate pics of all 18 figures and post them for sale. At any rate I wanted to get the comparison photos up. If someone prefers the bigger size or simply wants a small group of 18 Avars feel free to let me know and I can see if we can work something out.
